ESEE Knives Candiru OD w/Handle, Molded Polymer Sheath, and Clip Plate

The Candiru, a small parasitic fish found in the Amazon River, lends its name to this tough, compact knife. Constructed with a skeleton frame and 1095 powder coated carbon steel, the Candiru is designed for use as a lightweight survival kit or concealed carry knife. It comes with a molded polymer sheath for added convenience.

Care/Maintenance:

ESEE carbon steel knives are made from 1095 steel, a top choice for professional cutlery. However, it is susceptible to rust and staining if not properly cared for, especially around the cutting edge and laser engraving. Users are responsible for ensuring that the blades are well-lubricated and cleaned. We recommend using a dry film rust inhibitor, such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.
