The Candiru is a tough, small knife named after the nasty little parasitic fish native to the Amazon River. This knife is built with skeleton frame construction and 1095 powder coated carbon steel, making it perfect for lightweight survival kits or concealed carry.

To keep your ESEE carbon steel knives in top condition, it's important to properly care for them. The 1095 steel used can rust and stain if not maintained, especially around the cutting edge and laser engraving. Users are responsible for keeping the blades lubricated and cleaned, and we recommend using a dry film rust inhibitor like TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.
