ESEE Izula Knife with Molded Polymer Sheath and Clip Plate

In 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin launched Randall’s Adventure & Training with the goal of bringing realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market. After operating in South America under contract with the Peruvian Air Force’s School of Jungle Survival, they moved their training stateside and founded a sister company, ESEE Knives, to produce high quality field grade knives and gear.

One of their products, the ESEE Izula with Handle, has an overall length of 6.25" and a blade length of 2.63". It comes with a molded polymer sheath and clip plate included, and is available for purchase at the ESEE store.

The Izula is named after the Bullet Ant, known as the "Isula" by locals in Peru. It is designed to be a tough, lightweight survival kit or concealed carry knife. The knife is made from 1095 steel, which is known for its durability but can rust if not properly cared for. Users are advised to keep the blade properly lubricated and cleaned, and to use a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

With an overall blade length of 2.875" and a cutting edge of 2.625", the Izula has a handle length of 3.375" and a maximum thickness of 1.56". It weighs 2.0 ounces and comes with a molded polymer sheath and clip plate included. The Izula knife is proudly made in the USA.
